Fatima: The Story of a Girl Who Missed the Love Train

At a certain age, every lady wants to be sure she is in love with Mr Right, but my friend Fatima is yet to fall in love, which is fine since she’d rather spend all her time in front of her laptop creating designs and racing to meet deadlines, rather than donating likes, and contributing inviting social media comments to the posts of prospects. She wouldn’t even go on awkward blind dates, Nah wah sef !.

I remember telling her about one handsome dude who was really interested in her and did all he could to get her attention, but my friend will always insist that she wants a guy who speaks various languages like Javascript, PHP, Perl, Flutter, Kotlin, ML, and the scary one they call Python. I remember telling her that this guy is a Farmer with the right resources to double as a provider and defender, but Fatima will never listen to me. Thank God my own guy is doing right by me, otherwise, I would have been the right-hand woman to the fine farmer guy.

But wait a bit, what exactly do we want as women?

Looks like some of us women will end up dating and marrying Angels, that’s if we don’t find fault in the angels too…

Back to my friend, right now though, she has two problems. First, she’s stuck on loving a tech bro who hardly understands how to love a woman nor does he have time to engage in the petty things that women crave. Secondly, she is considering going back to her ex who now runs a nightclub somewhere downtown, because he’s still single and makes a ton of money every night at the club.

There’s a small wahala in this option because the ex in question is a 41-year-old man with multiple broken relationships, you’d be right if you guessed that his friends call him Baba for the girls!!!

Are you wondering where the farmer guy is? I believe you know serious men don’t have time to waste, Baba has moved on with another lady. I even heard they had their wedding lowkey with the creme-de-la-creme in attendance, I also learnt he married one frontend developer lady who is now working on a startup with him on the team. To my greatest surprise, I heard the fine Bobo has taken several crash courses in tech and he is now speaking tech languages.

Guess what their startup is all about?

It’s a startup in the agricultural industry, the farm is providing a soft-landing for the acquisition of funding, and a ready-made supply chain.

Fatima was at my place yesterday asking for my advice on what to do, should she keep loving Mr Cold Hearted developer, or should she find her way back into the arms of Baba for the Girls…

Truly speaking, this life has no balance at all, my friend is a dedicated lover whose heart cannot stand being broken, I have seen her show love towards her computer and the products she designed, and I am very sure she will be ready to love any man who can love just as much in return.

I will bring more gist to you later when we settle the issue, meanwhile, I need to go make some trouble with my own Man, because I don’t know why he’s been in the bathroom for over 30mins
