Oracle Cloud Products Now Available to Liquid Cloud Customers and Data Center Facilities Across Africa

The cloud computing arm of Pan-African Cassava Technologies, Liquid Cloud, has today announced its decision to allow customers to connect to Oracle Cloud products through the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) FastConnect.

According to this latest development, Cloud products will be available in South Africa within the Oracle Cloud Johannesburg Region and to organizations using FastConnect via Liquid CloudConnect as a service. They will also be available to Liquid Cloud customers in Data Center (ADC) facilities across Africa.

Liquid Cloud’s collaboration with Oracle makes them a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), thus allowing its customers access to Oracle Cloud through FastConnect via its extensive fiber network.

David Behr, CEO of Liquid Cloud and Cyber Security also adds: “Businesses in Africa have been digitally transforming their operations, and their expectations include a seamless experience irrespective of where applications and infrastructure operate. With Oracle FastConnect, Liquid will help its customers achieve simplicity, enterprise-class security, and seamless operations, be it on-prem or co-located through the ADC facilities across the continent.”

“We understand that in ever-changing and competitive markets, our clients need to be ahead of the game and have access to world-class products,” he continues.

Oracle Cloud is a next-generation cloud offering a variety of infrastructure and platform cloud services from application development and business analytics to data management, integration, security, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain. It does this via industry-leading, powerful computing and top-level networking performance.

Furthermore, the Oracle cloud is built to run Oracle Autonomous Database, commonly addressed as the industry’s first and only self-driving database.

Since Liquid Cloud’s teeming clientele now have access to the power of Oracle Cloud, they’ll be able to operate with higher-bandwidth options and offer more stable networking experiences on a global scale.
